After another incredible adventure full of swordfights, riddles, and mysteries, Professor Layton has returned to London as an infamous (although humble) hero. However, upon his return, Layton receives a letter from his Apprentice, Luke, claiming to be from the distant future. Even worse yet, the future Luke is writing from is in grave peril. Professor Layton and Luke must overcome dangers from both their pasts and futures in order to get to the bottom of this riddle of time.
